Half-price tickets for a number of shows coming up at Hull’s Connexin Live arena are on sale from today (Wednesday, July 8). Connexin Live’s official ticketing partner, AXS, is running a week-long summer sale on selected shows happening at the venue this year.
Be Like Blippi, Michael Starring Ben, Holy Holy featuring Woody Woodmansey and Tony Visconti, and Jonathan Pie* all have 50 per cent off tickets on offer. The discounts are available via AXS from now until 11pm on Wednesday, July 15 only.
A spokesperson for Connexin Live said: “Enjoy the perfect night out or family fun day at Connexin Live, now with half-price tickets for selected shows available for a limited time. On Saturday, July 25, we welcome the all-new Be Like Blippi tour for two showings, at 1pm and 4pm as Blippi and Meekah take the stage in a high-energy live show.
“Expect music, laughter, and surprises, featuring Blippi’s best songs like The Excavator Song and Curious Like Me.
“This show promises to spark every young child’s imagination, making it the perfect family day out.” The spokesperson said: “Holy Holy and Michael Starring Ben are part of our stellar autumn line up, taking place on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, October 18 respectively.
“These shows will pay tribute to two of the world’s most legendary and trailblazing performers – David Bowie and Michael Jackson. Expect to hear all the biggest hits in live shows designed to entertain and make you want to get up and dance.”
Friday, November 6 sees Jonathan Pie bring his new live tour, The End of The World according to Jonathan Pie, to Connexin Live. The UK’s angriest news reporter will provide a helpful and hilarious guide to surviving the impending apocalypse, as he speaks about some of the world’s biggest issues and most prominent figures.
