A man has been charged with attempted murder following an “attack with a hammer” in Hull. The incident happened on Dairycoates Avenue on Monday (June 15).
At around 6.30am, Humberside Police say a man was “seen to allegedly attack another man, who we believe to be known to him, with a hammer before fleeing the scene”.
A 53-year-old man has since been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon. Pedro Salas, of Melrose Street, Hull, was remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning.
