Hull City are a club who enjoy their activity in the transfer market, with almost 80 players signed since ambitious owner Acun Ilicali bought the Tigers in January 2022.
Ilicali’s bid to secure promotion to the Premier League had almost seen City relegated last season, before Sergej Jakirovic arrived 12 months ago and led the club to a stunning play-off final victory over Middlesbrough last month.
Amid all of that, the club were hit with a ban on paying transfer and loan fees last summer, which saw them only allowed to bring in freebies in both the summer and winter windows.
Despite that, however, Ilicali and his top team were able to produce some magic in the market to see the Tigers bolster their ranks and roar to the top-flight.

More than one hundred deals later, the Tigers are now preparing for life in the world’s biggest league, and excitement is building ahead of the fixtures being released later this week.
The most fascinating factor this summer, once again, will be City’s work in the transfer market as they prepare for life in the Premier League.
