Hull City are expected to have a busy summer planning for a return to the Premier League

Hull City are interested in USL Dunkerque’s rising midfield star Anto Sekongo, according to a report.
Website Africafoot reckon the Tigers scouted the 21-year-old on several occasions last season and that as a result he is on their ‘shortlist’.
However, they claim City aren’t the only suitors and that French clubs Lille, Toulouse FC, FC Lorient, and Stade Rennaisare also keen, as are Turkish outfit Samsunspor – and Leeds United. The story points out that Robert Yuksel Yıldırım’s Amissos Group owns both USL Dunkerque and Samsunspor.
Nevertheless Africafoot say that hasn’t stopped City ‘tracking’ the Malian who signed a two-year contract when he joined Dunkerque from Stade de Reims in the summer of 2024. While that deal is coming to an end there is an option to extend.
Sekongo was spotted playing for the Afrique Football Elite by Reims, for whom he played in the French third tier and scored 14 times in 21 appearances.
He has gone on to play 68 times for Dunkerque in Ligue 2 and last season bagged nine goals and six assists in 34 matches playing through the middle of the park.
