Nasty cases of sexual abuse and shocking violence have dominated the cases heard at Hull Crown Court during the last few weeks. One particularly scheming sex offender callously waited inside a woman’s home for two hours before confronting her and trying to rape her.
Another convicted sex offender was left with a total sentence of 30 years after another victim came forward while he was in prison for other offences. A violent bully attacked a terrified man with a dog chain after going into the victim’s flat while he was asleep.
A bad-tempered boyfriend became furious and violent when he discovered a “Happy Birthday” message to a woman on her mobile phone. Other cases included a heartless thief who stole a disabled girl’s wheelchair in a car theft and a vodka-loving woman who caused mayhem at Hull Royal Infirmary.
These are some of the cases that have been featured at court during May.
