

D’Arcy Short scored 82 runs and claimed four wickets as Gloucestershire defeated Yorkshire by 56 runs in their T20 Blast cross-pool match at Headingley.
Gloucestershire posted 217-6 in their innings and, despite Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth’s 97 from 56 balls, the visitors eased to victory – with Short also ending the match with figures of 4-31.
Chris Lynn scored an unbeaten century as Northamptonshire maintained their 100% record with a fourth straight win – and in doing so they inflicted yet another defeat on Warwickshire, who are winless in this season’s competition.
The Steelbacks successfully chased the target of 209 set by the Bears, with Lynn hitting 115 from 59 balls, as they won by six wickets.
In the South Group, leaders Hampshire defeated Middlesex by eight wickets after the visitors comfortably reached a target of 127.
