We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Anita Harrison on 8th May 2026. A Civic Funeral Service will be held in her honour on Wednesday 17th June 2026. The funeral procession will leave the Guildhall at 10:30am, proceeding to Hull Minster for the funeral service at 11:00am. Following the service, a burial will take place at Northern Cemetery at 1:00pm. Valerie was preceded in death by her much loved husband, Michael and her parents and is survived by their loving family, sons John, and his wife Pamela of Singapore; Peter, and his wife Susan of Norwich; David, and his wife Laura of Leesburg, USA; Grandchildren Scott and Sophie of Norwich and Ryan of Seattle, Clare and Elena of Leesburg, USA. Valerie was preceded in death by her brother Donald Robson and his wife Gillian. We will be holding a Celebration of Life for both Valerie and Mike at 11:00am on Thursday 4th June at the Hedon Methodist Church, prior to a private burial.
