Jack Brown has left Hull KR
Hull KR prop Jack Brown has officially left the club to sign with Castleford Tigers.
The forward makes the switch to Wheldon Road immediately, just days after representing his boyhood club in the Challenge Cup final.
He made 32 appearances for the Robins in total after joining from Hull FC back in 2024 and he managed to get over the line on two occasions too, with tries coming against Huddersfield Giants and Lock Lane.
While Brown didn’t play in his last year’s Grand Final, he did play his part in the treble win and came off the bench in the Challenge Cup success over Warrington Wolves.
However, with the club moving to bring in Tevita Pangai Jr, Brown, who had already signed a deal with Castleford for next year, has been allowed to make the move early.
He’s expected to go straight into Ryan Carr’s squad and he could make his debut for the Tigers this week against Leigh Leopards on Friday night.
“It’s been a special two years. Coming to Hull KR was special for me and my family.
”I was a Hull KR supporter as a young lad so to come over and play for the club has been great.
“Doing it for my family was a big reason I signed for the club. To be able to do that and win silverware along the way has been special.”
