Hull FC have named a depleted side to take on Leigh Leopards this Friday night, with Aidan Sezer left out of the team and no fewer than 16 players out to injury or suspension.
In total, there are seven changes from last Sunday’s defeat at Bradford Bulls, with Davy Litten (knee) joining an extensive injury list. The centre was in the wars at Odsal, also hurting his shoulder, and has unfortunately succumbed to those injuries despite hopes earlier in the week that he’d be fit enough to play.
Elsewhere, Lewis Martin (ankle), Ligi Sao (shoulder), Amir Bourouh (HIA), and Brad Fash (MCL) all drop out of the side with Yusuf Aydin serving the first game of a six-match suspension.
In come Lloyd Kemp, Callum Kemp, Hugo Salabio, Will Hutchinson and Will Kirby come into the side, while there are first-team debuts for academy produced players Ben Johnson and Lennon Clark.
At full-back, Logan Moy starts once again with Harvey Barron paired with Lloyd Kemp on the right edge. Ben Johnson is on the left flank with Tom Briscoe, who is making his 200th appearance for the club. Jake Arthur partners Callum Kemp in the halves.
Up front, Jeremiah Mata’utia starts alongside Harvie Hill at prop, with Cade Cust at hooker. Joe Batchelor and Ethan O’Neill are in the back row with Zak Hardaker named at loose-forward for the first time.
On the bench, Hugo Salabio is joined by Will Kirby, Will Hutchinson, and Lennon Clark. Joe Phillips is the 18th man.
