Hull FC struggled in West Yorkshire.

Hull FC were defeated 16-14 at Bradford Bulls on Sunday afternoon. The Black and Whites tried to salvage the game late on, scoring through Davy Litten after Joe Batchelor’s effort, but unfortunately it proved too little too late. Here are the ratings.

Logan Moy – Had a try disallowed in the first half for obstruction, with Jayden Nikorima attracted by Zak Hardaker’s run and the full-back running into space. Elsewhere, the young gun was solid and provided the pass for Litten to score late on. 6

Harvey Barron – The winger’s first Super League appearance since round three. He had some big defensive moments. 5

Tom Briscoe – In the centre and did little wrong. Carried well. 5

Davy Litten – Did it tough in the first half. Limped off but soon came back on. Scored late in the game with an acrobatic finish. 5

Lewis Martin – Tackled into touch on the very first tackle. Made a couple of strong surges and one big break, but again, starved of good ball opportunities. Copped a knock to his ankle late on. 5

Jake Arthur – Shapes up well but lacks execution. Some wayward passes and questionable kick choices, one to Litten’s side of the field while the centre was down injured and receiving treatment. 4

Aidan Sezer – Struggled again. Hull need more from their halves but their attacking struggles are a team thing. However, the last tackles options have to be better. 4

Ligi Sao – The prop was one of Hull’s better players. Carried the ball strong and looked for the offload. It paid off late in the game. 5

Amir Bourouh – Failed his HIA in the second half and will be out of Friday’s game at Leigh. 4

Harvie Hill – Struggled to get on top of Bradford and was bullied a bit, showcased by his drive after Batchelor’s try. Bundled back over the try line. 4

Joe Batchelor – Scored Hull’s 15,000th try since their rugby league induction back in 1895, getting on the end of Hardaker’s kick. 5

Zak Hardaker – One of Hull’s better and creative players in the back row. He knows no other way. 6

Brad Fash – Left the field after six minutes with a knee injury. Has a suspected MCL rupture. Didn’t return. N/A

Cade Cust – Tried to add some energy off the bench, at both loose-forward and hooker. 4

Yusuf Aydin – Sent off after 48 minutes for a tip tackle on Bradford full-back Caleb Aekins. He can have no complaints. A deserved red. 3

Ethan O’Neill – A debut for the Leeds Rhinos loan forward. Thrown on in the second half. Did okay. 5

Jeremiah Mata’utia – One of Hull’s better middles again, albeit that’s not too much of an accolade after that. Placed on report for one incident. 5
