Fast-food restaurant has had a facelift
McDonald’s in Hull’s Anlaby Road has reopened after a redesign, the result of which promises to deliver “a better customer experience for all”. The fast-food restaurant is owned and operated by local franchisee George Michniewicz.
He said: “I’m really proud to be reinvesting in our Anlaby Road restaurant. The transformation of the dining area will offer a more contemporary feel, creating a space that’s more comfortable for our dine-in customers.
“It’s exciting to see the fresh new look of our restaurant and I’m confident these improvements will make a real difference to our customers and crew.” While the traditional walk-in remains core to how customers order, the redesign of McDonald’s dining areas as part of the restaurant redesign will make smarter use of the internal space, therefore enhancing the dine-in experience, as well as allowing customers more space to enjoy their meal.
McDonald’s has said that with consumers increasingly looking for greater speed, efficiency and choice when ordering their food, its reimaging programme combines new restaurant layouts with the latest technology to create a more seamless and enjoyable experience for patrons.
At Anlaby Road, the improvements have included a redesign and upgrade of the dining area, which includes a new layout and a fresh front-counter design. The refurbishment programme by McDonald’s recently saw changes for Hull’s Cottingham Road branch too.
