A guide to all injuries across Super League, while four clubs are in Challenge Cup action this weekend in the semi-finals.

Super League will take a break for the Challenge Cup semi-finals, with Wigan Warriors, St Helens, Warrington Wolves and title-holders Hull KR in action this weekend.

Bradford Bulls

Head coach Kurt Haggerty is optimistic that he will have reinforcements after the Challenge Cup semi-finals – including Jayden Nikorima, Luke Hooley and Eribe Doro. The Bulls also welcomed back Andy Ackers and Guy Armitage for Super League Round 10.

Bradford remain without the likes of Esan Marsters, Joe Mellor, Waqa Blake, Rowan Milnes and Ryan Sutton.

Castleford Tigers

Liam Hood is set to miss a minimum of 12 weeks due to a serious neck injury, joining Fletcher Rooney and Louis Senior on the sidelines, both out with long-term injuries.

George Hirst should be available after the Challenge Cup action from a head injury. Off-season signing Semi Valemei remains out.

Catalans Dragons

Ben Garcia dropped out of Catalans’ squad to face Leigh, while Franck Maria marked his return from long-term injury.

Huddersfield Giants

Tom Burgess has been ruled out indefinitely with a hip injury. Connor Wrench returned to face his former club Warrington, while George Flanagan (ankle surgery), Matty English (MCL) and Sam Halsall (partial tear of his Achilles tendon) remain out.

Hull FC

It’s a lengthy injury list for the Black and Whites. Will Pryce (ACL), Herman Ese’ese (Achilles), Jed Cartwright (hamstring), John Asiata (hamstring), Sam Lisone (pectoral), Arthur Romano (ankle), and Joe Ward (ACL) remain sidelined.

Connor Bailey has suffered a suspected broken collar bone, while Ligi Sao is expected to be available after a HIA. Harvey Barron is also available again.

Hull KR

Sauaso Sue missed Thursday night’s game against Castleford through precaution, while Dean Hadley and Elliot Minchella were also given time on the sidelines during the big win over the Tigers.

Leeds Rhinos

Brad Arthur has the healthiest squad in the competition, having also sent nine first-team members out on loan over the weekend. Max Simpson (ACL) remains out long-term.

Leigh Leopards

Leigh welcomed back overseas ace David Armstrong in Perpignan, making his return from an ACL injury suffered in his debut Super League campaign. Tesi Niu and Umyla Hanley also returned, while Keanan Brand remains out with an ankle injury.

Andrew Badrock is out long-term, having dislocated his shoulder in the Challenge Cup against Hull FC in March.

St Helens

St Helens will be without veteran winger Kyle Feldt to face Wigan Warriors for a place at Wembley in the Challenge Cup Final. Daryl Clark was rested, as Bill Leyland started against York, re-joining on loan from Hull KR.

Toulouse Olympique

Jake Shorrocks required a late HIA in Toulouse’s win over Hull FC, although the outcome was still to be confirmed post-match.

Wakefield Trinity

Cam Scott took to social media to confirm that he was discharged in the early hours of Saturday morning after being stretchered from the field against Leeds.

Seth Nikotemo should be available again after HIA protocols, while Mason Lino returned from injury to face Leeds. Tom Johnstone missed the trip to Headingley due to an ankle knock, while Max Jowitt and Jazz Tevaga are on the sidelines.

Warrington Wolves

Captain George Williams remains out indefinitely due to a neck injury that required surgery. Josh Smith and Toafofoa Sipley marked their returns against Huddersfield, while full-back Cai Taylor-Wray is out for around six weeks due to an ankle injury.

James Harrison (ankle), Adam Holroyd (shoulder) and Arron Lindop (ACL) remain unavailable, while Luke Yates could return from a neck issue.

Josh Thewlis was also a late withdrawal in Super League Round 10, but has been declared fit to return for the club’s semi-final against Hull KR.

Wigan Warriors

Wigan remain without Bevan French, while Harry Smith and Sam Walters will return from suspension for this week’s Challenge Cup action.

Liam Marshall is out long-term with a significant hamstring tear, with Dayon Sambou also out due to a PCL injury. Fellow winger Abbas Miski remains out of action.

York Knights

Mark Applegarth only managed to name an 18-player squad for the trip to St Helens. Matty Foster failed a HIA on his club debut at the BrewDog Stadium.

Josh Griffin has suffered a pec injury that could keep him out for up to four months.

The likes of Toa Mata’afa, Ben Jones-Bishop, Sam Wood, Will Dagger, Liam Harris and Kieran Hudson remain sidelined.
