Hull FC hooker Amir Bourouh has been handed a one-match suspension and will miss the Black and Whites’ next Super League game away at Bradford Bulls on May 17.
Bourouh has been charged with a Grade C head contact offence and subsequently handed five penalty points. However, his previous disciplinary record has taken him over the threshold for a one-match ban, a suspension he will fulfil for the game in West Yorkshire.
The hooker, ever-present for Hull so far this year, is one of seven charges handed out by the MRP, with Bradford also dealt a blow ahead of the clash against Hull. Mitch Souter has been handed a two-game ban after being charged with a Grade D dangerous lift offence. He has received 12 penalty points.
Elsewhere, Wigan Warriors prop forward Ethan Havard is also banned for one game and will miss the Challenge Cup semi-final against St Helens this Saturday afternoon. Havard has received a Grade B head contact charge but falls into the threshold for a one game ban due to his previous disciplinary record.
There are also charges for Leeds Rhinos winger Maika Sivo, Wakefield Trinity centre Cam Scott, Toulouse forward Henry O’Kane, and York Knights half-back Ata Hingano. However, no bans followed for the quartet.
