The plans form part of a wider East Riding development

Plans for new employment units and a self storage site near Beverley have been submitted to East Riding Of Yorkshire Council. The plans form part of the wider Beverley Gateway scheme.

The application seeks permission for a self-store building to be constructed alongside a building containing four units. They would be built on land west of Killingwoldgraves Lane, in between Beverley and Bishop Burton.

Plans explain that the site forms part of a wider site known as ‘Beverley Gateway’, located near the Killingwoldgraves Roundabout. Planning permission has already been granted for the establishment of a drive-thru at the site which is set to be operated under the Starbucks brand. The coffee shop will be run by franchise partner 23.5 Degrees, marking their first venture into East Yorkshire.

A total of 45 parking bays are included in the proposals, including five accessible bays. Two motorcycle bays have also been included in the plans. Vehicle access to the site would come from Killingwoldgraves Lane.
