The Championship promotion race is set for a captivating climax

There are just four games remaining for Hull City in their quest to secure a play-off place in the Championship, starting with Saturday’s visit of Birmingham City.

The Tigers remain in the box seat to claim the final play-off spot, but know they still have a job to do to secure that spot and ensure their season gets extended by at least two games, hopefully three.

As the season enters its thrilling final couple of weeks, there’s all to play for with an exciting climax lying ahead for those chasing a place in the promotion race.

Ipswich Town suffered a shock 2-0 defeat at Portsmouth on Tuesday night, while further along the South Coast, Southampton won again by seeing off Blackburn Rovers 3-0 to continue their incredible form and move fourth.
