Hull KR head to France again this week as they take on Toulouse Olympique on Friday night

Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has welcomed Elliot Minchella back into his 21-man squad ahead of this week’s trip to Toulouse Olympique.

The Robins travel to the south of France looking to pick up what would be their fourth straight win and their third straight in Super League, with memories of that difficult March night in Perpignan becoming distant.

Wins have come over St Helens, Hull FC and York Knights since that loss to Catalans Dragons and it would seem as though they are starting to find their best form once more.

The return of the captain will certainly help matters this week, with Minchella sitting out of the Challenge Cup win over York with a minor injury.

The loose-forward has trained this week and he should be fit enough to be involved at the Stade Ernest-Wallon. Tom Whitehead is the man to drop out to make way for Minchella’s return.

Rovers have also been given the green light to include Dean Hadley this week, with the forward appearing to aggravate the eye issue he picked up in February against Brisbane Broncos. He keeps spot in the squad and he’ll be expected to feature, too.

Toulouse have named their squad as well, and there is one familiar name there with AJ Wallace set to take on the Robins for the first time since leaving the club. Wallace spent two seasons at Craven Park but never made a senior appearance. He’s featured three times in Super League for Toulouse this year.
