Latest Hull and East Riding planning decisions and applications

  1. Hull City Council has approved plans for four electric vehicle chargers to be installed in the car park of McDonald’s on Boothferry Road. Plans suggest the charging units will be in the South West corner of the restaurant’s car park.
  2. Plans have also been approved by Hull City Council for a 6-bed HMO to be converted into an 8-bed HMO. The plans explain that a new rear dormer will be added to 52 Morrill Street, facilitating the extra rooms.
  3. East Riding Council has received plans to convert the first and second floors of 23-25 King Street, Bridlington, into four flats. The ground floor of the site is a CeX store.
  4. Hull City Council has approved plans for the change of use of 1123 Hessle Road. Permission has been granted for the three-storey semi-detached house to be converted from six serviced flats to a care home for young people with five bedrooms. The facility will care for those between aged 11 to 18. The facility will employ four staff members.
  5. The council has also approved plans for a Hull flat to be turned into a pharmacy. The ground floor 1-bed flat at 121-123 Chanterlands Avenue can now be used as a pharmacy following the council’s green light. The flat is at the rear of the existing pharmacy on the site, meaning the application is to expand the current site.
