The Tigers’ assistant has been forced to pay another fine to the FA
Hull City’s assistant manager Marko Salatovic has been given a one-match touchline ban after being found guilty of misconduct for his celebration when John Egan scored the winner against Derby County.
Salatovic was sent off by referee Adam Herczeg at the MKM Stadium in the aftermath of Egan’s rasping finish, which put City 3-2 in front, before Lewis Koumas finished it off to cap off the 4-2 victory.
Salatovic will not be on the touchline against Millwall on Saturday afternoon at the MKM Stadium, and has been fined £1,500 after accepting the charge following a recent hearing.
It’s the second time in as many months the Croatian has been dismissed, after being given his marching orders by Sam Allison in the closing stages of the Tigers’ 2-1 win at Southampton in January, and was also slapped with a £1,500 fine.

“I think that he lost control in the first half after his yellow card to No. 7 (Patrick Agyemang after two minutes),” Jakirovic said on the night, joining John Eustace in bemoaning Herczeg’s below-par performance. “He (referee) must manage the game. Maybe it’s too much for him, too big a game.
“There is no consistency, and this is something I’m worried about. There are a lot of challenges, a lot of hands, a lot of pushing, pulling. We need VAR.
“It’s very simple, and I know every gaffer in this league wants this because I’m speaking with my colleagues. This is the Championship, we must keep this level. You can make an error or a mistake there. This is normal. This is human, but come on, there is no consistency. I didn’t feel consistency in this game.”
