The salary of the special advisor to Luke Campbell, the mayor of the East Yorkshire Combined Authority, has been revealed.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, Lia Nici will receive £45,000 to £52,000.
However, that sum is the full-time figure and Nici is currently working on a part-time basis and is paid pro-rata the LDRS added.
The former Conservative MP for Grimsby joined Reform in December after losing her parliamentary seat in the 2024 election.
When the former MP was appointed, the mayor said: “I’m delighted to welcome Lia to the team. I’m confident she will be a great asset as we continue working hard for communities in Hull and East Yorkshire.”
Commenting on her new role, Nici added: “This is an exciting opportunity to support Mayor Luke’s vision for Hull and East Yorkshire.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with him and delivering on the priorities that matter most to local communities.”
