Jackie, Julie and Andrea have served their local community at the Morrill Street pharmacy for over 100 years between them
Three colleagues are celebrating a collective more than 100 years of service to a Hull pharmacy. Jackie Cook, Julie McCloud and Andrea Fisher, who work at The Pharmacist on Morrill Street, were presented with bouquets of flowers, and joined by colleagues for coffee and cake to celebrate the milestone.
Jesmeet Notay, Head of Operations for the Pharmacy Group, “Between them Jackie (40 years), Julie (36 years) and Andrea (30) years have dedicated more than 100 years to the Morrill Street pharmacy. They have been through many changes in the pharmacy always adapting and continuing to provide for their community with care and commitment.
“At The Pharmacist, we pride ourselves on being a family-orientated company at the heart of the community and Jackie, Julie and Andrea embody those values every single day. Their loyalty and commitment are remarkable, and they represent the very best of what our organisation stands for.
“We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and grateful for the difference they continue to make every day. Here’s to the next 100 years!.”
Manager, Jackie Cook has been with the pharmacy on Morrill Street for over 40 years. She said: “The customers are lovely, the job is rewarding.
“Myself, Julie and Andrea have worked together for such a long time and we’ve seen a lot of changes, but our little team is like a family. It’s not just the fact we’ve been here such a long time, it’s the fact that we work together so well along with all the staff including Josh, Sophie, Ryan, Jason, Jasmeet, Lin and Chris.
“The Pharmacy Group corporation took over three years ago and they’re a lovely company to work for, very supportive and very appreciative to us. It’s just fantastic they’ve done this for us.”
Dispenser, Julie McCloud has been with the pharmacy for 36 years. She said: “We all help each other and we’re a little family. If anyone can’t do anything we will swap over and help just to make the business work.”
Dispenser, Andrea Foster is celebrating 30 years service and said: “I live in the community just two minutes away so I know a lot of the customers, the customers are friendly and as Jackie and Julie mentioned we are all like family.”
