Hull City take their unbeaten Premier League record to St James’ Park this weekend looking to complete what would be a stunning first part of the 2026/27 campaign.

Unbeaten after four games and having taken points of Manchester United, Aston Villa and now Chelsea, the Tigers head to the North East knowing another positive result would send them into the extended international break in very fine fettle.

The three-week hiatus would also give Sergej Jakirovic’s men the time they to need to refresh and ensure they return to the fray – at home to Everton on October 11 – with more fit players.

Here’s the latest state of play in the Tigers’ treatment room after Nobel Mendy had to be helped from the Stamford Bridge pitch after a clash of heads.
