Hardaker is the latest Hull FC player to seal a move elsewhere
Zak Hardaker is set to leave Hull FC at the end of the season in order to join up with York Knights.
Hull Live understands a deal is done for the versatile centre to make the switch across Yorkshire to link up with Mark Applegarth’s side, as reported by Love Rugby League.
Hardaker is contracted at Hull for next season but the decision has been taken to release the veteran at the end of the season in order to spend next season with the Knights, who are preparing for their second season in Super League next year.
The former Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors man has spent two seasons with the Black and Whites, making 46 appearances for the club and scoring six tries.
He quickly established himself as a crowd favourite at the MKM Stadium, with his presence and heart in a number of positions going a long way with the Black and Whites faithful.
Ultimately, Hardaker has become the latest name to join the FC exodus, with a raft of names set to leave the club at the end of the year.
The centre will be departing alongside Davy Litten, who is Wakefield Trinity bound, the retiring Tom Briscoe, Jake Arthur, Brad Fash, Ligi Sao and more.
The Black and Whites have already landed two centres for 2027, too, with Junior Pauga and Jordan Swann set to make the move from down under to East Yorkshire.
And, it is understood that FC are close to sealing a deal for Goole Vikings youngster Connor Barley, who scored 20 tries for the second tier clubs this season, to provide more depth and cover in wide areas.
