The Tigers are looking to offload players today

Hull City fans are rightly getting excited about deadline day incomings, with the club looking to get as many as five deals done today.

Ilyas Ansah was the first one of those deals to be confirmed this morning, with the striker making the switch from Union Berlin on a five-year deal, while Robinio Vaz, Tim Iroegbunam and Brooke Norton-Cuffy appear to be close to being done, too. The club are also confident of getting Sorba Thomas over the line after multiple bids

However, City also face the big task of trying to offload players before this evening’s 11pm deadline and it seems two players could be set for permanent exits.

The arrival of Norton-Cuffy ensures Cody Drameh will be allowed to leave the club today with the right-back expected to go to Genoa as Norton-Cuffy’s replacement.

Drameh was keen to stick around at the MKM Stadium and despite interest from the Championship emerging on Monday, the suggestion was that the right-back wanted to fight for his place in Sergej Jakirovic’s team.

However, the move to Genoa looks to be gathering pace now, with Drameh set to take up the offer from the Serie A side.

Norton-Cuffy’s exit presents a clear opening in Daniele De Rossi’s side and Drameh would be expected to fill it with the opportunity to pick up the first-team minutes he craves.

Liam Millar is another one who could be set to leave City before tonight’s deadline with the winger set to make the move to Championship side Birmingham City.

Millar stepped off the bench to score the only goal of the game on Saturday at Coventry City and hand the Tigers their second Premier League win of the campaign.

However, there are question marks about his ability to pick up the minutes he needs this season and therefore a move to St Andrew’s is seen as ideal for all parties.

City are known to be trying to find a club for Kieran Dowell late in the window, while Abdus Omur could be well be set to leave amid interest from Türkiye. David Akintola, Matty Jacob and Oscar Zambrano are also looking for switches in order to avoid being de-registered.
