Four Super League players have been hit with bans

Four Super League players have received suspensions from the Match Review Panel – but Hull FC prop Ligi Sao has escaped a charge.
The 33-year-old was sin-binned in Hull FC’s 16-14 defeat to Warrington Wolves in Super League Round 25, while video referee James Vella at the time recommended a red card for on-field official Chris Kendall.
Hull FC team-mate Joe Batchelor, however, has seen his season ended early after receiving a two-match ban for Grade D head contact, carrying 15 penalty points.
Warrington Wolves veteran hooker Sam Powell has also copped a one-match ban for Grade C dangerous contact in the contest at the MKM Stadium. He’ll sit out of this weekend’s trip to Wakefield Trinity as a result.
St Helens prop Daniel Suluka-Fifita will miss his side’s visit to Leigh Leopards, charged with Grade C strikes in Saints’ defeat to Leeds Rhinos.
Finally, Castleford’s Daniel Sarbah has been hit with a one-match suspension for Grade B head contact, carrying three penalty points onto his previous tally of three.
Elsewhere, Warrington’s Sam Stone and St Helens youngster Billy Keeley have also been hit with Grade B head contact, but their only punishment is a fine given their lack of any previous disciplinary record.
Leeds Rhinos’ Presley Cassell has landed a Grade A charge for late contact on the passer in the win over St Helens and York Knights’ Toa Mata’afa has been given the same.
Interestingly, in the Championship, Sheffield Eagles’ Alex Foster has been hit with a three-match ban and a Grade E charge for kicking in their clash with Widnes Vikings.
