The Robins take on Toulouse Olympique this evening at Craven Park

Jack Charles will get the chance to start for Hull KR this evening as the Robins take on Toulouse Olympique at Craven Park.

Charles has had to be patient since making the move to east Hull from Hull FC with his sole appearance in red and white coming in the win over Lock Lane back in February.

However, with Tyrone May dropping out through injury, Willie Peters has given him the nod to start in the halves against the French side.

He’ll partner Ryan Hampshire in the pivots, with Hampshire brought in to replace Mikey Lewis, who has been dropped from the fold due to his disciplinary issues.

Oliver Gildart hasn’t been cleared to play this week, despite being named in the 21-man squad and that means Jack Broadbent keeps his spot in the outside backs.

Dean Hadley is pushed to back-row after playing huge minutes over the last week and a half through the middle. That means Tom Amone steps off the bench into the middle of the park, while James Batchelor is fit again after sitting out of Tuesday night’s game due an issue.

Skipper Elliot Minchella will come off the bench this evening, with Karl Lawton given the nod to start and he’s named alongside Louix Gorman as an interchange with the youngster set for his first outing in Rovers colours since 2023.

Hull KR: Arthur Mourgue; Tom Davies, Peta Hiku Jack Broadbent, Joe Burgess; Ryan Hampshire, Jack Charles; Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Tom Amone; Dean Hadley, James Batchelor; Karl Lawton.
