Hull FC will take on St Helens in a Super League fixture in Dublin next year. The game will be the club’s first in Ireland and the second Super League fixture to take place in the Irish capital over the course of the weekend of April 24/25.
Hull will meet the Saints at the Laya Arena, the recently redeveloped home of Leinster Rugby, on Sunday, April 25, one day after Wigan Warriors meet Warrington Wolves on Saturday, April 24.
The fixture will see Hull play in their seventh different country, having played in all of England, Wales, Scotland, France, Australia, and New Zealand throughout their 161-year history.
Boasting a capacity of 20,000 people, the Laya Arena is situated in the heart of Dublin and has undergone a €52 million transformation, offering Hull fans the chance to watch the club overseas in a state of the art venue.
The Black and Whites will be the away team, with the Saints agreeing to give up a home fixture.
