Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information following the incident on Bude Road
A 28-year-old man has been left seriously injured following a motorcycle crash in the Bransholme area on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services were called to Bude Road at around 9.40pm on August 5 after a Yamaha motorcycle, which was travelling southbound, crossed onto the opposing side of the carriageway and collided with a lamppost. The rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police say.
Bude Road was closed for some time between the junctions of Ennerdale and Cheltenham Avenue while emergency services attended the scene.
Humberside Police have launched an investigation to establish the cause of the collision and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone who saw the crash, has dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident, or has any relevant information is urged to contact officers on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting log 566 of 5 August.
