Police have sealed off a road in Hull to ‘deal with an ongoing incident’ late on Wednesday evening.
Cops raced to the street in Bransholme at around 10:15pm on Wednesday (August 5). Officers closed Bude Road between its junctions with Ennerdale and Cheltenham Avenue.
Humberside Police did not explain the nature of the incident which required a road closure.
The force said in a statement, posted on X: “Please be aware that there is a road closure in place on Bude Road in Hull between the junctions of Ennerdale and Cheltenham Avenue whilst police deal with an ongoing incident. Thank you for your patience.”
No other details were given on how long the closure is expected to be in place.
The area closed is near Bude Park, but does not include the green space popular in north Hull. The quarter-mile closure is also near Kingswood retail park complex, but does not affect access to shops, restaurants, or the cinema.
