Hull KR star Peta Hiku is set to miss the Robins’ upcoming Super League clash with Warrington Wolves after receiving a one-match suspension from the Match Review Panel.
The veteran centre has been charged with a Grade C late contact on passer, taking his total penalty points beyond the threshold for a suspension. Hull KR have until midday on Tuesday to appeal the charge.
Willie Peters’ side head into Round 19 sitting fifth in the Super League table, two points behind Saturday’s opponents Warrington at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Meanwhile, two St Helens players have been charged following their record home defeat to Toulouse Olympique, with Curtis Sironen receiving two separate charges.
The back-rower has been cited for both a Grade A late contact on the passer offence and a Grade B strikes offence.
Team-mate Daniel Suluka-Fifita has received three penalty points for a Grade B strikes offence following Saints’ 46-0 defeat, their heaviest-ever home loss at the BrewDog Stadium.
Wakefield’s Isaiah Vagana and York trio Jack Martin, Kieran Buchanan and Xavier Va’a have also been charged.
