The Black and Whites travel to York Knights on Thursday night

Hull FC will be without Davy Litten when they travel to York Knights on Thursday night, Andy Last has confirmed.
The Black and Whites will be looking to get back to winning ways against the Knights following their 26-12 loss to Hull KR at Magic Weekend on Saturday.
However, they know all about the challenge of the Knights having lost to them earlier in the season and with Mark Applegarth’s side on a run of two victories in a row, they’ll fancy their chances of doing the double over the side from west Hull.
To make things a little more challenging for FC, they will be without Litten, who failed a HIA in the loss to the Robins.
Litten could be seen leaving the field in the first half after a hefty challenge close to the Rovers line and he never returned to the field.
As such, according to concussion protocols, he won’t be eligible to feature at the LNER Community Stadium.
“He had a HIA and wasn’t able to go back on,” Last confirmed after the game. “Harvie Hill had a HIA early which disrupted things and you have to manage that but then Davy failed a HIA and that suggests he won’t be able to play on Thursday against York.”
The Black and Whites have struggled for consistency in the outside backs of late but the expectation is that Harvey Barron will make a return after failing a HIA in the loss to Wigan Warriors last week.
Barron sat out of the derby but he should be able to return against the Knights and that’s a change that would see derby try scorer Tom Briscoe step inside from the wing to cover centre.
Jed Cartwright was the man selected to come off the bench cover the centre spot following Litten’s injury on Saturday.
