One of the fastest-growing sports in the world is arriving in Hull this weekend with the official opening of an indoor padel facility.

Court de Padel has been designed to cater to players of all abilities, offering everything from casual rallies to high-level competitive matches. Beyond the playing areas, the new venue features tailored lessons and coaching for everyone from beginners to advanced players, alongside a dedicated rehabilitation room providing on-site recovery and performance treatments. Visitors can also access a pro shop stocked with leading equipment and apparel, as well as a café and bar serving coffee, fresh food, and drinks.

The centre boasts eight super panoramic courts, comprising six doubles courts and two singles courts, alongside two pickleball courts. Fitness enthusiasts can also make use of an on-site gym, with a specialised pilates studio set to be constructed in the near future.

Operation Director Joan Ferras said: “We are super excited to open the first indoor Padel Courts in Hull. The sport has expanded around the country really rapidly and there was not any indoor facilities in Hull. We know the potential this city has.

“We have eight super panoramic courts, six of them are doubles, two are singles and we have two pickleball courts. We also have ping pong tables for people who are relaxing, we have a coffee area and we have a full licence where we will show premier league and champion league games.

“We also have a little gym for people to use and in a short time we will build our Pilates studio. We want this to be a well-being facility for Hull.

“We are family friendly, dog friendly and 100% disabled friendly, accommodated with showers and changing rooms for disabled people as well.” The venue opens to the public Saturday, June 6, and court bookings can be made through Playtomic which can be found here
