Hull City fans have descended on Wembley Stadium for Saturday’s fateful game against Middlesbrough FC, with victory securing a return to the Premier League.
The game kicks off at 3:30pm and the atmosphere in the fan park has been rife with excitement. Hull City fans gathered at MKM Stadium in Hull from early this morning to board coaches for London.
City got themselves into the final after a deserved 2-0 win at Millwall in the semi-final. Although the Tigers were due to face Southampton, the scandal-hit club was kicked out for cheating as the spygate saga came to a head.
Now City prepares to take on Boro, despite the side losing the semi-final against Southampton 2-1. It comes after lawyers for Acun Ilicali explored if the Tigers had grounds for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
