City return to the national stadium for the first time in a decade

Hull City’s emphatic play-off second leg at Millwall on Monday night means the Tigers can look forward to a trip to Wembley Stadium later this month.

Sergej Jakirovic’s heroes are now just one game away from a place in the Championship play-off final at Wembley, where they’ll face Southampton, as it stands.

To an extent, that remains up in the air with the Saints under investigation by the EFL after being charged for alleged spying by Middlesbrough in the build-up to their semi-final first leg on Saturday.

The manner of City‘s impressive away display at The Den, masterminded by Jakirovic and expertly delivered by his players, was one of the key topics for the panel.

So, too, the current situation involving Southampton, with ex-Saints star David Prutton delivering his verdict on the latest episode of ‘Spygate’.

There were also updates on the Tigers’ injury situation, with Kyle Joseph forced off just before half-time with an ankle injury, along with Toby Collyer, Cody Drameh and Amir Hadziahmetovic.
