The latest on Challenge Cup semi-final attendances.

The Challenge Cup semi-finals are set to draw strong crowds this weekend, with Saturday’s tie heading towards a sell-out.

The Halliwell Jones Stadium is nearing its full capacity of around 15,000 as Wigan Warriors and St Helens go head-to-head in a mouth-watering contest.

A place at Wembley in the Challenge Cup Final is on the line. St Helens last featured in the capital in 2021, defeating Castleford Tigers 26-12.

Wigan, meanwhile, most recently lifted the prestigious trophy in 2024 – their 21st triumph – overcoming Warrington under the famous Wembley arch.

Sunday’s rematch of the 2025 Challenge Cup Final is also on course for a near sell-out, with more than 12,000 tickets sold for the clash between Warrington Wolves and Hull KR.

The two Super League heavyweights will meet at Doncaster’s Eco-Power Stadium, which also has a capacity of around 15,000.

Hull KR claimed a dramatic victory last year to kick-start their treble-winning campaign. A late Tom Davies try turned the game on its head, before half-back Mikey Lewis sealed a historic victory to end Rovers’ trophy-drought with a game-winning conversion.

The Robins have confirmed that fewer than 200 tickets remain in their allocation for Sunday’s semi-final in Doncaster. St Helens also have only a couple of hundred tickets left, having sold out the east stand in Warrington.

It means in total, close to 30,000 supporters are expected to attend the two semi-finals, with the final set to take place later this month on Saturday, May 30 – a double-header alongside the Women’s Challenge Cup Final.
