Easter was a truly special time at Windsor Court care home in Goole this year, with festive celebrations bringing joy to residents and the local community alike.
The fun began with an “eggs-tremely” good visit from the Goole Vikings Juniors RLFC, who helped deliver Easter eggs to every resident, spreading smiles and excitement ahead of the holiday. A huge thank you from the home goes to BYPT Plant Training for generously donating the eggs, making the morning even more special.
The celebrations continued with a community Easter egg hunt, held in the Windsor Court gardens. Blessed with sunshine, the event saw children eagerly searching for Easter eggs and smaller treats, with two lucky participants discovering the golden eggs and winning special prizes.
A very special visitor, the Easter Bunny, delighted everyone by making an appearance. Eleanor Martin, wellbeing co-ordinator at Windsor Court, said: “We had a wonderful morning on our Easter egg hunt, and it was fantastic to welcome both our residents and the local community.
“From the Goole Vikings Juniors’ egg drop to the children’s hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny, it was a day full of smiles, excitement, and festive fun. Well done to the children and everyone involved.”
Windsor Court is proud to host events that bring the community together and create joyful memories for its residents.
