The Tigers goalkeeper is away on international duty in the USA

Ivor Pandur’s call-up for Croatia, coupled with Hull City’s form this season, has seen the goalkeeper again linked with a move away from the MKM Stadium this summer.

Pandur, who is away in Florida with the national team and preparing for pre-World Cup friendlies with Colombia and Brazil, is wanted by clubs in Serie A as well as Premier League relegation battlers West Ham, according to reports in Italy which have resurfaced once again.

TuttoMercatoWeb claims the 26-year-old stopper remains of interest to Torino, who could yet face a summer of change, while the Hammers have previously shown interest in the City number one.

During last summer’s transfer window, the Tigers’ Championship rivals Middlesbrough were keen admirers of Pandur, who joined City in a £1.5m deal from Fortuna Sittard in January 2023. A deal was eventually not forthcoming and he remained at the MKM Stadium.

The former Hellas Verona man penned a three-and-a-half-year deal when he arrived a little over two years ago, with the Tigers holding the option of an extra year, so they remain protected in terms of his contract length.

After a difficult 2024/25 campaign, Pandur has firmly established himself as the club’s number one and has played every Championship minute in Sergej Jakirovic’s side, keeping 10 clean sheets in his 39 games.

City’s focus for now is on the final seven, potentially 10 games of the Championship season, with Jakirovic’s men firmly in with a shot of winning promotion to the Premier League.

Any transfer decisions involving Pandur or his Tigers colleagues, including Charlie Hughes, will not be made until the club know which league they’ll be playing in next term.

Owner Acun Ilicali has spoken openly about the potential of player sales this summer should the club not win promotion, and Pandur’s likely involvement in the World Cup will strengthen their hand in any negotiations.
