The deadline runs until 7pm on Monday evening
Sergej Jakirovic is expecting a low-key end to transfer deadline day at Hull City, with nothing of any great drama expected in the final hours.
Despite interest from Ipswich Town and West Ham, John Egan is expected to remain at the MKM Stadium and be in the City side that takes on Watford on Tuesday night.
Brandon Williams and James Furlong are expected to depart ahead of the 7pm cut-off, though neither have troubled the first team scenes this season, while David Akintola’s future remains up in the air but doesn’t need to be concluded until later in the week.

“Yes, he must train,” Jakirovic said of Egan. “What I know so far, there are no bids yet from these clubs, so I’m calm. I think he will stay with us, but if something will come, the player will decide, of course, because if you want to go, what can I do?
“I want him to stay, of course, so because of this, I’m avoiding him,” the Croatian joked. “I will speak with him now, but nothing has come yet.”
Brandon Williams is expected to have his contract terminated, as he looks to try and find a move elsewhere and restart his career, which has not got going since joining the club in the summer.
“We are trying everything to find a solution so that he will have minutes and we are trying now. I think something will happen. I spoke with Brandon last Friday, and we agreed on everything. He’s a very nice boy. He’s aware of everything and we are now trying to find a solution for him.
“He needs minutes because now it’s very difficult, especially after his injury. He’s not in a good place, but we are trying to find a solution for him.”

On Akintola, Jakirovic has left the decision up to the Nigerian winger, who has some offers to return to the Turkish Super Lig in the next few days.
“Nothing yet,” Jakirovic said. “He has some offers from Turkey. We will see what happens with him but the deadline in Turkey doesn’t close until the end of the week. There is a possibility that he will go there if it’s a good option for him. If he wants to stay here, he will stay here. I don’t have a problem with that.”
James Furlong is set to move back into League Two. Out of contract in the summer, the Irishman is fit again after a season of struggles following his setback in the final stages of last season at AFC Wimbledon.
“We are also trying to find a solution. I explained to him the situation. There are no minutes because we have Gilo (Ryan Giles), Matty Jacob, and Akin Famewo there, so I think it’s better to go and play because then you feel much better. We’ll see till 7pm what happens. Just these three (are likely to go),” he added.
On the subject of fitness for Tuesday night’s game with managerless Watford, as City look to move to within two points of top spot, the Tigers could welcome back Ryan Giles after a month out, but Akin Famewo is a doubt after complaining of a knee problem. Should Famewo not make it, Matty Jacob could make a rare start with Giles not ready to feature for 90 minutes.
