Speaking to the Hull Daily Mail yesterday, as Karl travelled through northern Lincolnshire towards the Humber Bridge, filmmaker Werner Herzog said: “It is unbelievable. I understand what it is like to travel by foot. But to see the world through his eyes has never been done before.”
He has 1,200 hours of footage to edit from the last 15 years following Karl. “This is the last piece. He has been out there to see the world in his eyes. We have never seen that before.”
Karl Bushby told followers they are in for ‘a treat’, when he previously announced that legendary filmmaker Werner Herzog will be directing a documentary about his journey.
