Actor Lee Arenberg will present the Music of Hans Zimmer & More concert at Hull City Hall
Hull has welcomed sailors for centuries, but this November, a Hollywood pirate will be in port. Lee Arenberg, who played the scene-stealing Pintel in the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films, will be at Hull City Hall on Saturday, November 21, to present The Music of Hans Zimmer & More.
This will be a big night of the film music people know by heart, right in the heart of the city. The Interstellar Symphony Orchestra & Choir will perform scores including Gladiator, The Lion King, Inception and Interstellar, along with Pirates of the Caribbean, Top Gun and James Bond.
Special guest presenter Arenberg appeared alongside Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley in The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End. The actor won fame as half of the bumbling, comedic pirate duo, Pintel and Ragetti (played by Mackenzie Crook).
Away from the big screen, Arenberg’s television roles include Grumpy/Leroy in the series Once Upon a Time. The Hull concert will start at 8pm and tickets are on sale now through Hull Theatres.
The Hull Theatres website says of the event: “Experience the unique and best film scores from Top Gun, James Bond, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar and many other top productions, in a breath-taking concert.”
The concert bill also includes “the greatest superhero themes, Spider-Man, Man Of Steel and The Dark Knight” and the “extraordinary soundscapes of Dune”. The event will feature star soloists and selected film clips.
Hull Theatres said: “Enjoy the only film music concert series in the world with a presenter from the films.”
