The stars of Hull New Theatre’s spectacular upcoming panto, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan, took to the heart of Hull on Saturday as the full cast gathered in Queen Victoria Square to officially launch this year’s festive show.
The event formed part of the Hull Maritime Summer Festival finale, taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with the cast joining the city’s wider maritime celebrations alongside a giant inflatable whale in Queen Victoria Square.
The launch was a fitting celebration for a panto set during Hull’s landmark maritime year, with The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan bringing pirates, mermaids, adventure and the high seas to Hull New Theatre this Christmas.
The cast included Brendan Cole as the villainous Captain Hook, Jennie Dale as the Magical Mermaid, Phil Walker as Smee, Jack Land Noble as Mrs Smee, Liv Wright as Wendy and Maria Zureiqi as Tink.
Aaron Aisoni is to play Peter Pan alongside Liv Wright and Maria Zureiqi who were all announced as the latest additions to the cast earlier this week, completing this year’s line-up ahead of the launch.

The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan runs at Hull New Theatre from Thursday, December 10 to Thursday, December 31.
