Hull City have reportedly joined the race to sign Norwich City star Mohamed Toure, but will seemingly face competition for his signature. The Tigers are currently preparing for their return to the Premier League and have already been hard at work strengthening their squad in the transfer market.
Sergej Jakirovic’s side will face Manchester United at the MKM Stadium in their opening fixture on Saturday and could strengthen their squad even more before kick-off this weekend.
Reports have emerged claiming that Hull are exploring a deal to strengthen their forward line, and now there has been a fresh update.
Toure has been reported as a target for Hull this summer, with journalist Rudi Galetti claiming that the Tigers are joined by Porto in expressing an interest in signing the Australia international.
Toure only moved to Carrow Road in January from Randers FC in Denmark and made 12 appearances for Norwich scoring 10 goals, nine of which came in the Championship.
The 22-year-old has already opened his account for this season, scoring in the Canaries’ 4-1 win over MK Dons in the Carabao Cup earlier this month.

Sporting Lisbon are also mentioned in the report as having an interest in Toure, but are not thought to have made an enquiry to Norwich at this stage.
Hull have already made 11 signings so far this summer, and it remains to be seen if Toure will complete a move to Humberside before the deadline on September 1.
Nobel Mendy, Konstantinos Tzolakis, Lucas Herrington, Jens Hjerto-Dahl, Joe Gelhardt, Lucas Gourna-Douath, Jack Butland, Elliot Stroud, Hidemasa Morita, Matt Targett and Oscar Zambrano have all signed for Hull this summer, with the potential for more to come in the next two weeks.
