A man has been arrested after police found what appeared to be stolen police uniform and machetes in a car in East Yorkshire.
Officers spotted a man acting suspiciously around a vehicle on Melton Old Road in Melton on Sunday, Humberside Police said.
Officers said the car was found to be displaying what appeared to be false registration plates.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft, possession of an offensive weapon and a number of motoring offences and is in custody while police investigations continue.
