Wood has made five appearances for Hull FC this season

Max Wood has been recalled from his loan spell at Hull FC, Warrington Wolves have confirmed.
Wood has had a couple spells on with the Black and Whites this season with the East Yorkshire club taking the prop on two one-month loans.
However, Warrington have cut those loans short on both occasions in order to bring Wood back into the picture under Sam Burgess at the Halliwell Jones Stadium
His latest move to Hull was announced on July 21 and he has featured in each of the three games since, including a derby clash against Hull KR. He stepped off the bench to help FC over the line in their 32-18 win over St Helens last week, too.
Wood has been recalled by the Wolves, though, and he looks set to pick up more game time over the next fortnight with Warrington heading into a hectic period of the season. Burgess’ side play three games in the space of 10 days with a Tuesday night trip to Hull KR being wedged in between home clashes against York Knights and Huddersfield Giants.
It’s a tricky spell of fixtures and Burgess is sure to use a large proportion of the players available to him, with Wood being recalled to add depth to their front line.
The decision comes with Ligi Sao and Sam Lisone thought to be on the brink of a return for Hull, who take on Castleford Tigers on Friday night at the MKM Stadium.
The overseas pair have been missed but they could be set to make a big impact against a Tigers side who have struggled through the middle all year long.
