Our thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one

Announcing the passing of a loved one in local news media is a long-standing tradition and we are proud of the trust placed in us to make these important announcements.

Every notice published in our newspaper and news site also appears on funeral-notices.co.uk – the UK’s number one site for death notices and memoriams. Every notice remains online forever providing friends and families with a lifelong tribute to their loved one, a safe place online to share memories, add tributes, photographs and make donations in memory.

Each week we pay tribute to the loved ones remembered in our area with a funeral notice and online tribute page. (Chambers) To Margaret, My beautiful wife. Having known you for 61 years, I will cherish all of our happy and beautiful memories together. I will love you forever and you will always be in my heart. Until we can be together again, All my Love Arthur xxx To my beautiful Mum, Heaven gained a beautiful soul and I lost the person who meant everything to me. Always in my heart until we meet again. Your time had come to leave us Mum, And we had to say goodbye, Just like the sun sets gently down, On a tranquil evening sky. I still hear the sound of your voice, As the wind blows through the trees, As though it’s floating on forever upon a gentle breeze. I still see your face in places, I know how strange it seems, And the clouds paint out a picture When I see you in my dreams. My eyes can’t hold back the tears, Like the skies can’t hold the rain, And I’m longing for the day to come When we will meet again Your loving daughter Fiona, Son-in-Law Mazin, and Grandson Ryyan xxx To my Chick, My best friend, my soulmate, my everything. Sadly taken away from us unexpectedly. You truly were a beautiful soul inside and out, patient, kind and true and the best Mum in the world to us. I miss hearing your voice, seeing your beautiful smile and hearing your laughter. You were always laughing and filled the house with so much joy. Words simply cannot impart how much you mean to me. I miss you so, so much – you were the centre of our lives and they will never be the same without you. I will treasure every single one of our beautiful memories together. Until we can be together again, All my love forever and ever Caroline xxx
