

“It’s just incredible, thinking about all the many volunteers who have been involved over the years to make something happen that has evolved and developed,” said Train.
“It’s just as important now as it was back then.”
He said: “For the vast majority of us, the parade is the main thing.
“It’s the joy from the parade, the colour, just the sheer loveliness of being in the city centre – it’s just so busy.”
The parade sets off from Wellington Street at 11:00 BST, with live acts and entertainment running from 12:00 until 18:00.
