Hull FC have named their 21-man squad.
Andy Last has made two changes to Hull FC’s 21-man squad ahead of Thursday’s derby match against Hull KR at the MKM Stadium – the third and final meeting of the two old rivals this season.
The Black and Whites welcome back former loan player Max Wood into their side – with the prop signing a new one-month loan deal. Elsewhere, Lewis Martin is also fit and available again after a recent head knock. The duo replace Yusuf Aydin, who suffered a category one head knock against Leigh Leopards last week and is ruled out, and young back Ben Johnson.
Tom Briscoe and Harvey Barron are included, as are Davy Litten and Zak Hardaker, with Last set for a big decision in his outside backs.
The Black and Whites will be without ten players to injury once again, with Aydin joined on the treatment table by Will Pryce (ACL), John Asiata (hamstring), Sam Lisone (pec), Ligi Sao (shoulder), Connor Bailey (collarbone), Arthur Romano (ankle), Brad Fash (knee), Will Kirby (ACL), and Joe Ward (ACL).
It’s hoped that the likes of Romano, Bailey, Fash, and Sao will return to action next month, with John Asiata and Sam Lisone also pushing for a comeback. Pryce, Kirby, and Ward are the three players ruled out for the season.
