Star men failed to perform against Wakefield

Hull KR disappointed as they fell to a 20-6 loss to Wakefield Trinity at Craven Park.

Ryan Hampshire: Had his moments with the ball in hand coming out from deep but he was defensively a weak link and Faatili ran over him. 5
Tom Davies: Never put a foot wrong. 6
Peta Hiku: Sin binned in the first half and missed a couple of tackles in the second. 5
Oliver Gildart: Tried hard to make an impact but struggled to impose himself. 6
Joe Burgess: Was decent out of back field but never had much joy in good ball. 5
Mikey Lewis: Not his day at all. Willie Peters needs more from him. 5
Tyrone May: Struggled at points. Wasn’t his usual self. 5
Sauaso Sue: KR’s best player. The prop tackled hard and looked to get KR going with his work rate in defence. 6
Karl Lawton: Had a couple of moments early but struggled to have a say on the contest in the second half. 5
Jai Whitbread: Had a decent stint early but never really got going after the break and he committed a big error that led to a try. 5
Rhyse Martin: The back-rower scored KR’s only points of the game with the boot. 5
James Batchelor: Tackled well, didn’t do too much with the ball in hand. 6
Elliot Minchella: A really poor showing from the captain. Let himself down with discipline and let Caius Faatili in for Wakefield’s third. 4
Jez Litten: Looked to get things moving but never looked himself. 6
Jack Broadbent: Came on the final 20 and committed an error. 5
Sam Luckley: A tough afternoon really. Worked hard but didn’t stand out. 5
