Rovers dug deep at Leigh Sports Village
Hull KR clung onto a 20-16 win against Leigh Leopards to stretch their winning run to eight games in all competitions.
Here’s our player ratings.
Arthur Mourgue: Impressed on his return and got himself over for a try but his night ended in heartbreak, picking up another pec injury. 7
Tom Davies: Took his try well and made plenty of metres. 7
Peta Hiku: Scored KR’s first try of the day and looked the part. Had to defend well, too. 8
Oliver Gildart: Could probably have done more to stop Jacob Alick-Wiencke going over but steady away apart from that. 7
Joe Burgess: Made a superb tackle at the end of the game to deny Lachlan Lam a certain winner. 8
Mikey Lewis : Not his best day, sin-binned just before the break for a professional foul. 6
Tyrone May: Controlled things well, another good performance from the scrum-half. 7
Sauaso Sue: Knocked on from the kick off but recovered well and worked hard. 7
Karl Lawton: Bust his nose early doors and dug deep through the pain of that. 7
Tom Amone: One of KR’s best on the day against his former club. Played big minutes and really caught the eye. 8
Dean Hadley: Steady away in the back-row. 7
Rhyse Martin: Worked his way into the game and played a key role. 7
Elliot Minchella: Controlled things well on both sides of the ball before leaving the field late on. 8
Jez Litten: Made a big difference when he came on. His kicking game had Leigh rocking too. 8

Sam Luckley: Played big minutes and helped KR stay on top. 7
Jai Whitbread: Ran himself into the ground over the middle period of the game. 7
