The Match Review Panel have pored over both semi-finals
Hull KR back-rower James Batchelor is the only man to been charged by the Match Review Panel this week.
Batchelor scored two tries for the Robins on Sunday afternoon as KR beat Warrington Wolves 32-12 at the Eco-Power Stadium to book their spot in the Challenge Cup final.
They’ll play Wigan Warriors at Wembley, with the Cherry and Whites beating St Helens 32-0 on Saturday afternoon’s semi-final at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
A number of incidents have been looked at by the disciplinary panel this morning but Batchelor is the only player to have been handed a charge.
The back-rower has been hit with a Grade B charge for head contact in the game and that comes with three disciplinary points. His only punishment is a fine, though, with the charge not enough to take him over the threshold for a ban.
As such, he will be free to play for the Robins this week against Leigh Leopards as KR put Wembley to the back of their minds and turn their attentions back to Super League.
The RFL have also confirmed that Jackson Hastings have been sanctioned after throwing a bottle into the crowd during the Good Friday derby between St Helens and Wigan Warriors on April 3.
A compliance investigation was opened following the incident and five weeks on, Hastings has pleaded guilty to ‘conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game’.
As such, the Saints man has been handed a £500 fine, suspended until the end of the 2027 season, while he has also been order to spent 10 hours working within the St Helens Foundation.
