The Robins take on Warrington Wolves for a spot at Wembley on Sunday

Arthur Mourgue has been named in Hull KR’s 21-man squad ahead of this Sunday’s Challenge Cup semi-final clash with Warrington Wolves.

The two teams go head to head at Doncaster’s Eco-Power Stadium with a spot at Wembley on the line. The winner of Sunday’s game, which is a repeat of last year’s final, will take on either St Helens or Wigan Warriors at the national stadium later this month.

One of the biggest talking points ahead of the weekend has been Mourgue, with the full-back pushing to make a return to action after spending almost three months on the sidelines.

The Frenchman suffered a pectoral injury in World Club Challenge win over Brisbane Broncos and had to go under the knife. He has been working towards a mid-May return ever since but Peters sprung a surprise last week by suggesting the full-back could feature in the semi-final.

Mourgue trained with his Rovers teammates on Thursday, taking another big step towards a return, and he has now been named in the 21-man squad.

Of course, Jack Broadbent has held down the full-back role in his absence and it would now seem as though Peters has a big call to make.

Bill Leyland is back in the Rovers ranks after featuring for St Helens last week, while Sauaso Sue and Dean Hadley have both been named after managing small issues recently.

Warrington boss Sam Burgess has named Luke Yates in his 21-man squad with the head coach alluding to the possibility of a return for the forward at the semi-final media day earlier this week.

Josh Thewlis has also been named, as he was last week, but he stands more of a chance of featuring this time around.

Jake Thewlis is the only man to drop out for the Wolves, who will be in primrose and blue on Sunday.
